A Message from
Mrs. Gengelbach
I’m so excited to get the opportunity to work with you and your child at CME. My name is Cassie Gengelbach, and it’s a great honor to serve as your principal for the 23-24 school year. I have been fortunate to work in education and in the Blue Springs School District for 19 years.
I started my career in 2004 at Sunny Pointe Elementary teaching 5th grade and 3rd grade for seven years. After leaving the classroom, I was fortunate to work as an administrative intern and assistant principal at Franklin Smith Elementary and James Walker Elementary. I returned to SPE as the assistant principal for four years and served as an assistant principal at Paul Kinder Middle School for some of this time as well. I’ve served as the principal of SPE for four years and look forward to my second year as the principal of CME.
Outside of school, you will find me spending time with my family. My husband and I are proud parents of two children in the Blue Springs School District. Keeping up with high school and elementary student certainly keeps me busy, but also brings me so much joy.
I’m looking forward to another memorable and successful year at CME!
