Winter Wonderland & Grandparent's Night

Join us at our Winter Wonderland & Grandparent’s Night THIS THURSDAY, November 20th!

  • 5:30 – 5:45 – Bundle up and join us outside to listen to a special Cougar Choir performance! (school doors will be closed and locked)
  • 5:50Lighting Ceremony – Count down and building light turn on!
  • 5:50 – 7:00Building doors open for Winter Wonderland and Grandparent’s Night festivities! You may enter the building at the South side doors (suggested for 4th & 5th), North side doors (suggested for K – 2nd & CASELS), or front entry doors (suggested for 3rd). 
  • Photo Options in Library
  • Snacks in Cafeteria

This will be the 4th year our school has celebrated this fun tradition. You do not want to miss!! 
 

PTA Santa Breakfast

Join us for Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 6 from 8–10 AM!
Please pre-order your $6 plates to guarantee breakfast—limited $7 plates will be available at the door.
 

Angel Tree - Calling all CME Families!

It’s that magical time of year again — Angel Tree season! 🎁💫
Let’s come together to help families right here in our community have a joyful and love-filled Christmas. ❤️
If you’re able to donate, we’d love your help! 🙌
You can:
🎒 Send items to school with your child
🏫 Drop them off at the office
🎅 Or bring them to Santa Breakfast on Sat, 12/6!
All donations are due by 12/6 🎁

Difference Makers Wanted!

Difference Makers is a Blue Springs School District mentoring initiative that connects K-5 students with caring adult volunteers. Difference Makers mentors are positive role models who give their time, energy, and talent to build positive relationships with students and to promote student literacy. If you are interested in being a Difference Maker at Cordill-Mason Elementary, please contact Josy Kruse at jkruse@bssd.net or call school office at 816-874-3610.

Lifetouch & SmileSafe Card

School pictures are ready!
To order, log in to your account on mylifetouch.com or create an account using your student's student ID number.
All families can also log on and order a FREE Digital SmileSafe card. More about the Smilesafe program here.

There will be a retake day on October 14th if your child was absent or if your photo doesn't turn out how you hoped.

Upcoming Events and Opportunities:


  • 11/20: Winter Wonderland & Grandparent’s Night at 5:30 – 7:00
  • 11/26 – 11/28: NO SCHOOL – Thanksgiving Break
  • 12/6: PTA Santa Breakfast at 8:00am – 10:00am in Cafeteria
 

CME Logistics & Reminders:

Water bottles: Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle each day. Please be sure to put your student’s name on it in case it is misplaced. 

Food Delivery: We cannot deliver food orders sent to students at our school (ex. Door Dash, Grub Hub, etc).

Birthday Treats: If you would like to provide treats for your child’s birthday, this must be pre-arranged with your child’s teacher at least 24 hours in advance. Also, all treats must be store-bought, individual (not whole cakes), and packaged.

Transportation Changes: If your student’s transportation changes, please inform the office and teacher prior to 3:30 so we may plan accordingly and ensure we have enough time to relay this information to your student.
