A Message From Mrs. Brunk:
My name is Jaclyn Brunk, and I am honored to serve as your principal at CME for the 2024-25 school year. My husband and I live nearby with our two little boys who also attend school within the Blue Springs School District. We love spending time with friends and family, and we try to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible!
This year will be my 14th year in the district. I was an intermediate teacher for 7 years at John Nowlin Elementary, the Literacy Coach for 3 years at William Bryant Elementary, an Administrative Intern at James Lewis Elementary for 1 year, and an Assistant Principal as Cordill-Mason for 2 years. Throughout my time in BSSD, I have had countless opportunities to soak up some of the best professional development around and learn from many phenomenal educators. It is my goal to use all that I have learned along the way to help students and teachers in our building be successful and achieve greatness.
During the past two years that I have been at Cordill-Mason I have witnessed astonishing growth. It has been exciting to observe the fruits of our labor. The CME team is dedicated and passionate about growing students. The families and staff bring forth amazing contributions for our students. I am excited to continue this journey being a part of that effort.
Your feedback is so valuable. Our goal is to provide a culture of belonging for every child, parent, and staff member. My wish is for everyone to feel like CME is their home away from home. We are a team, so please reach out if you have any questions or ideas to make our school the absolute best. Our primary goal is to provide your child with the opportunities and experiences that are essential to educational success at CME and beyond.
Life is a never-ending journey to explore, learn, and grow, and I am looking forward to doing that with you this school year. It’s always a great day to be a Cougar!
Jaclyn Brunk, Principal
